the work process

studio melon limited together with melon graphics south africa were called in by indulge to conceptualize their corporate identity and then create their website and then keep it up to date on a constant basis.

once the website had been completed, we began working on their print marketing by creating their business cards and a run of flyers that they would hand out at a bridal exhibition in johannesburg.

additional to this we photographed a selection of thier cakes in a rented mansion that we then worked on in post to convert the backgrounds to black and white, leaving the cakes in colour as the main subject. these were printed large format on canvas and then stretched and block mounted and hung in store as wall art.
