Highway Collective is PVW SOTM

We just received exciting news and the website we developed for The Highway Collective has been awarded the Performance VW magazine site of the month which is an absolute honour.

We have loved working with the guys over at The Highway Collective and are excited to have contributed to this exposure for them.

The Highway Collective

The Highway Collective started when a group of friends decided they weren’t satisfied with the offerings (or lack of them) for VW fans in the scene, and set about creating their own. Intent on showing their passion for Volkswagen without having to buy into the ricey products that were currently available, the guys set out to create apparel that reflected their side of motoring. Since then we have been producing limited runs of VW enthusiast apparel and sending it all over the world.

The Highway Collective is NOT a club or an organisation. It is a brand for ALL V.A.G enthusiasts, and the lifestyle that goes with building and modding these cars. People into the Euro / OEM + scene, Vdubs, Audis, Seats, Porkers, slammed cars, good times, rat look, trailer queens, daily hacks, dropped, and stock cars…

The Work Process

We were really excited when we were commissioned by the team at The Highway Collective because we have been fans of their work for a while now. The guys started with a small site a few years back to showcase some of the rides they liked and the interest grew really quickly so the team wanted to step it up and create a site / portal where they could upload content on a regular basis and grow their readership on an international level.

We developed a site around a WordPress backend as they were familiar with the interface and because WordPress is amazing. They were also interested in starting a newsletter database where readers could register with so we assisted with this and implemented it into the site.

Once this was all done we customised their Big Cartel store to match the look and feel of the website.

Website portfolio updated

The hardest thing as a design company is trying to put time aside to update our own portfolio’s especially when we are working late hours to look after our clients and make sure that their deadlines are being met. Today we finally had a gap to update our Website Portfolio with a few of our favourite sites that we have worked on over the years. Hopefully it won’t take too long to update the rest of the site. Until then, if you have any questions, make sure to Contact Us and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Our web services include customized design and development according to client briefs as well as internet consulting, customized wordpress development, search engine optimization, web stats, content management, email database list management, e-shots, online marketing, hosting, domain registration and on going support.

The Highway Collective website launch

The Highway Collective started when a group of friends decided they weren’t satisfied with the offerings (or lack of them) for VW fans in the scene, and set about creating their own. They have been around for a few years now and we have always found an appreciation for what they are doing so we jumped when the opportunity was given to us to redesign and develop their website from scratch. We ripped the old site down and begin from the start so that we could include features we felt would be beneficial to their growth. The site was developed around WordPress so that the guys can update it in their own time and at their own pace with ease. The site features sections for them to post news, videos, press and then an online store where their merchandise is available for sale.

This one turned out great and we have a strong feeling that this is going to explode for them.
