The Skillful Zone is an educational centre that opened doors in June 2011 in Edenvale, South Africa. The learning centre focuses on improving levels of Numeracy, Literacy and confidence for young people in an exciting and stimulating environment.

Run by two internationally experienced teachers, the zone personalizes the learning experience for the individual to enhance emotional intelligence. Young people who attend the zone will be excited and enjoy learning while improving their self esteem and attitude to education.

The Work Process

We were commissioned by The Skillful Zone earlier this year once they had decided to take their great idea of the learning centre to South Africa. The concept is great and we fully support it so we were really excited to be involved in making this project a success.

We worked closely with the designer and the owners on creating the logo and coming up with a colourscheme that would be strong and powerful. The website needed to be really “clean” and allow for the owners to be able to update the site as and when they like to ensure that new information is posted for the readers. During the development we setup the Twitter and Facebook profiles for the centre and incorporated them into the website.
